Back in 2009 when I started writing this story. It took me thirteen years to perfect Learning Earth's Deathly History. I spent the past three years working with a professional editor to polish my manuscript.
2010 after 90 days of P90X. I need to get with the exercise program again!
Renee and I graduated together in 1980. I started dating her that year and we married in 1985. We have remained best friends and blissfully married ever since. (This picture still cracks me up).
My 1929 Plymouth that I had during my senior year of high school. It must have been the transmission fluid in my hair and grubby jeans that Renee was attracted to. lol. I use to leave the key in this car. On more than one occasion after leaving class and going out to my car the motor was still warm from someone taking my 29 Plymouth for a joyride while I was in class.
A picture from July 8th, 2011. I didn't stage this picture. We lived in Ludington (West side of Lower MI.) at the time, and I would hit McDonalds's in the morning for my writer fuel. Yes, I require copious amounts of coffee to function. (Notice the 2009 first-edition of Learning Earth's Deathly History on my desk. I printed 500 paperbacks then. I regret publishing it because it was really a rough draft not ready to be read. I see copies of the book still listed on Amazon by used book dealers. Don't get fooled into buying it. You want the 2021 edition with the hammerhead shark-shaped starship on the cover.).
I built my new office on the upper floor of our barn. It's the perfect place to escape the noise in our world and have the peace and quiet needed to write.
Jon Stubbington, who lives in the UK, designed all of my ebook covers and the awesome paperback cover. Jon listened to me, and was able to take what I described to him and design these wonderful covers. I can't thank him enough, and look forward to working with him in the future.
This is H.B. aka Honey Bunny. She is our Flemish giant house rabbit. We love H.B.
My wife and I have been owned by German Shorthaired Pointers for over 40 years. We love them! Mocha just had her twelfth birthday on March 11th. I'm such a dog person! Love Miss Mocha!
I got infected by the classic car hobby when I was young. There is no cure for the automotive disease. Just ask Renee! ;) I love American muscle cars, and have owned several (mostly Mopars) over the years. This was Renee and I with our original 1969 440 Six-Pack Dodge Super Bee at the Frankfort MI car show.
I believe this picture was taken in 2010. This was our 1970 R/T SE Dodge Challenger that I sold soon after this picture. It was a factory 440 4spd car. I wish I could keep them all. lol
I built this replica of a late 20s early 30s gas station on our property a few years ago. I keep the antique coke cooler full of icy cold glass bottle (pop & adult) beverages. It's my favorite hangout during summer evenings.
